Ars linearis VII

Sborník předkládá příspěvky z odborného kolokvia, přinášející řadu nových poznatků z oboru kresby, grafiky a iluminací. Autoři textů jsou v oboru největšími autoritami v rámci České republiky a jejich výstupy mají vysokou vědeckou úroveň a zároveň jsou přínosné i pro širší okruh zájemců. Publikace rozšiřuje povědomí o uměleckých dílech, která nemohou být trvale vystavována pro citlivost na světlo a další klimatické podmínky. Řada Ars linearis, jako ročenka obsahující články o umění na papíře a pergamenu, je ojedinělou svého druhu v celosvětovém měřítku. Vzhledem k tomu, že vychází dvojjazyčně, je akceptována i v zahraničí, kde si již získala velmi dobré jméno.

This compilation comprising papers from a colloquium of experts presents a number of new findings in the fields of drawing, graphic art, and illuminative art. The authors are the leading authorities in their fields in the Czech Republic, and their work is of a high academic quality as well as beneficial for the wider circle of those interested in the subject. The publication increases knowledge about artworks that cannot be permanently exhibited due to their sensitivity to light and other climatic conditions. The Ars Linearis series, published annually and containing articles about art on paper and vellum, is unique at the international level. Because it is published as a dual-language periodical, it is accepted abroad, where it has earned an excellent reputation.
